Perl: Interpreted Not Compiled

Many have said that Perl is compiled. This is because of the syntaxes, variables, codes and symbols used. There are also variable which is not familiar to us. So, this makes us think that it is gathered and that is being compiled to form a kind of programming language. However, this perception is really a big mistake. We don’t simply judge a particular programming language just because of its looks. But it is natural that we don’t understand when we first saw it. A first timer who sees the text file would surely wondered. It would make your mind puzzled because it is not easy to understand the variables and codes.

Once you have knowledge about Perl, you will conclude that it is interpreted and not compiled. You will find that you can commonly use Perl is you used awk, sed, shell scripts or even Unix for several purposes. The codes of Perl incline to be more compact. And once you have not utilized such utilities but have begun thinking you may need it, then you definitely really have to learn about Perl rather than of all kinds of futilities. Understanding and learning Perl is not that complicated as what you are thinking. With the first glance of Perl, you would ask if how you can understand it.

You would think if how you are able to understand and learn about Perl. Once you spend time and sit down for even 2 hours and 30 minutes, this will assure that you will know about Perl. You will understand that it is interpreted and not compiled. The perception of Perl as being “compiled” will not be altered into “interpreted”. Perl is applied as an interpreted language and not a compiled one. This is just an insight of a Perl beginner. But when you understand about Perl, you are totally wrong with the perception.
